COLUMBUS, Ohio--- The No. 5 Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team captured their first win of the season with a 209-142 victory at No. 17 Ohio State, Saturday morning at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

"We had some solid swims today, it was good to see the freshman get up and racing in their first races representing A&M," head coach Steve Bultman said. "No doubt, we have some things we have to work on and be better for next week at Alabama as they already have some races under their belt this year."

The Aggies took first place in the 200 yard medley relay (1:41.76) led by Raena Eldridge, Anna Belousova, Taylor Pike and Golf Sapianchai.

Texas A&M captain Sydney Pickrem added two more individual victories, and posted four total in the dual meet, winning the 400 yard IM (4:12.07) and the 100 yard backstroke (54:15), to go along with wins in the 200 yard IM and 200 yard backstroke on Friday.

The Aggies swept the top three positions in the 200 yard freestyle with Claire Rasmus (1:48.84), Haley Yelle (1:49.40) and Katie Portz (1:49.84).
