INDIAN WELLS, CA –Senior Jordi Arconada of Texas A&M men's tennis dropped a tough match to No. 10 Skander Mansouri of Wake Forest the Round of 16 at the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Friday afternoon at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California.
No. 36 Arconada fell 6-4, 6-2 to Mansouri in Friday's Round of 16 after picking up a pair of ranked wins in the Sunshine State. Arconada earned the No. 15 seed at the premier fall tournament of the collegiate tennis season after an impressive fall campaign. The right-hander advanced to the ITA Regional semifinals in College Station before falling to No. 40 Johannes Schretter of Baylor.
The Oracle ITA National Fall Championships features a 64-player singles draw, while doubles consist of a 32-team draw. Matches will take place at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Players qualified for the tournament through designated placings at earlier ITA National Championships and the ITA Regional Championships Presented by Oracle.
