COLUMBUS, Ohio--- The No. 10 Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team beat No. 11 Louisville 190-162, but fell No. 16 Ohio State 199-153 Saturday morning at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
"We were definitely challenged from start to finish, we maxed out pretty well with both teams, it was one of things where I knew ahead of time that this dual meet was going to be hard fought," head coach Jay Holmes said. "We got out-touched way too many times, especially against Ohio State. That's one of the main things we need to work on as we look ahead to Alabama next week."
Benjamin Walker added his second and third wins of the weekend in the 400 yard IM (3:53.51) and the Men's 200 yard breaststroke (1:58.73).
Adam Koster (1:38.44) earned his first win of the season in the 200 yard freestyle and took third in the men's 50 yard freestyle (20.23).
Aggie captain Sam Thornton came away with the victory in the one meter dive (358.95). Thornton was trailing the whole competition to Ohio State's Jacob Felding (328.20), until he landed a stellar last dive with a 68.7.
Shaine Casas took second in the men's 100 yard backstroke (48:44).
