BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Under the guidance of new Head Coach Tom Wilson, who took over at mid-season, the Aggies closed a controversial 8-4 campaign with a convincing win over the Cyclones as halfback Curtis Dickey ran for 276 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries.
Dickey had runs of 21, 24 and 34 yards and scored from 19 yards out in the fourth period while garnering the second-highest single-game rushing total in A&M history.
The Aggies staved off a rally by ISU that drew the Cyclones to within 14-12 midway through the third quarter.
